DataNet Quality Systems today announced it has promoted two of its employees to vice president.
Brad Armstrong, DataNet’s director of sales, was promoted to the position of vice president of sales and will be responsible leading DataNet’s world-wide sales efforts.
Frank Tappen, DataNet’s director of solution delivery, was promoted to vice president of solution delivery and will be responsible for the world-wide implementation and configuration of DataNet’s WinSPC® and QualTrend® software to DataNet customers.
“I have worked with Brad and Frank for over six years and they have consistently exceeded my expectations,” said Ned Greenberg, president, DataNet Quality Systems. “The promotions are well-deserved. As vice presidents, I am counting on them to provide the leadership and expertise necessary to achieve our corporate growth goals.”
Brad began his career at DataNet in 1997 as an account executive. In 2002 he was promoted to director of sales and was responsible for directing DataNet’s international sales team. Prior to DataNet, Brad managed systems integration sales for R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Chicago, IL. He holds an SPC certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and successfully completed the Quality Management training program through the ASQ. Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University.
Frank joined DataNet in 2000 as the director of North American sales. In 2002 he was selected to direct DataNet’s newly formed quality services department as the director of solution delivery. From 1989-99 Frank held various management positions at Murphy Software Company in Southfield, MI. He has more than 18 years of SPC software development, training and integration experience. Frank is a Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, a Six Sigma Black Belt through the ASQ, and holds a computer science degree from the University of Michigan.
